Skeena Fisheries Commission

Publications

The Skeena Fisheries Commission has been conducting aquatic science programs for over 3 decades, compiling some of the most comprehensive datasets for salmon habitat in BC. Our programs produce data that meet international standards for peer review, and we have published many peer-reviewed papers.

Our publications are housed within the Skeena Salmon Data Centre, developed by the Skeena Knowledge Trust as a central repository for information related to wild Pacific salmonids in the Skeena watershed. Our publications include datasets produced by or in partnership with the SFC, including datasets prepared for Fisheries and Oceans Canada and other external organizations. These data are used by Indigenous, provincial, and federal governments to manage and set conservation objectives for fisheries and habitat.
