The Skeena Fisheries Commission Technical Committee (SFCTC) is a Tier 2 forum for Skeena First Nations and government agencies to discuss fisheries science and technical issues, priorities, and opportunities for collaboration.
The SFCTC is open to all First Nations with an interest in the conservation, protection, and management of fish populations, fisheries, and aquatic habitat in the Skeena watershed. It is not a venue to discuss political or Indigenous rights issues; committee discussions do not fulfill or replace Canada’s or BC’s duty to consult with rights holders on a government-to-government basis.
